Road to Manchester – Cwmbran, Wales (2nd & 3rd December)

The team will be off to Wales to compete in the Road to Manchester tournament this December. Six national teams will be competing over the four days, playing forty minute games in Cwmbran Stadium. It’s the World Cup Roster’s first outing since being selected so get yourself to Wales to cheer on the Girls in Green! Ireland will be facing off against hosts Wales, Scotland, Germany, Norway and Denmark.

Welcome Aboard Selina Vile!

We’d like to congratulate  and welcome Selina Vile to the team as Line Up Manager. Selina Vile from Manchester Roller Derby will be working with Lt Damn & Jeff to keep the team on track for the next two years.

A big thanks goes out to the Irish Roller Derby Association (IRDA) for organising the application process and for all those who applied for the role.

Road to TBC: 5th Place!

We’re thrilled to announce that we finished 5th place this weekend at Road to TBC, hosted by Wales! After two tough games against Wales & Sweden, we went on to beat Belgium in the last of our 30 minute games. This put us up against Scotland for 5th place in a full length game, with the final score standing Ireland 108 – 56 Scotland.

A big shout out to all the volunteers, officials, opponents, photographers, medics and fans that made Road to TBC another great success!

We’re pretty thrilled with our first outing as a new squad!
