The 2024 squad’s first games will be at Celtic Clash against our neighbours Team Scotland and Team Wales as part of our preparation for the 2025 World Cup.

We’re excited to announce that January 28th we’ll be playing two warm up games hosted by Dublin Roller Derby!
To get us truly prepared for the Roller Derby World Cup we’ll hitting the track against our long time friends Scotland and for the first time Argentina!

Full weekend ticket (6 games) – €18 online pre-sale, €24 on the day.
Single day ticket (3 games) – €10 online pre-sale, €13 on the day.
Last game on each day – €5 on the door
Under 12s go free with a paying adult.

When there, we have sweet snacks for sale in the hall but if you’re looking for anything savoury, The Happy Pear café on-site has plenty to offer.
Road to Manchester – Cwmbran, Wales (2nd & 3rd December)
The team will be off to Wales to compete in the Road to Manchester tournament this December. Six national teams will be competing over the four days, playing forty minute games in Cwmbran Stadium. It’s the World Cup Roster’s first outing since being selected so get yourself to Wales to cheer on the Girls in Green! Ireland will be facing off against hosts Wales, Scotland, Germany, Norway and Denmark.

Ireland v Belgium & France
On Saturday 23rd of September Team Ireland are hitting the road for a pair of warm up games against Team Belgium and Team France. We’ll be playing as part of a triple header hosted by Roller Derby Tourcoing that will see each team play each other once.

Saturday Night With Miriam (and Team Ireland!)
Did you spot us on the Saturday Night with Miriam show last Saturday (1st July)? No? Yes? Well either way you can rewatch the show on RTE Player until the end of the month. We’re there supporting Revolutions, the documentary covering the beginning of Irish Roller Derby (including the inaugural Team Ireland heading off to their first world cup in 2011)!
London Brawl Saints (22nd July 2017)
On the 22nd of July our training squad will be making its way to London to take on London Rollergirls’ Brawl Saints. We’ll have merch for sale and great derby for viewing!

EuroClash: Ireland – Scotland Rematch (26th March, Newcastle)
After our win against Scotland (190 – 150) at Road to TBC in December, we’re facing off against Scotland again, on the 26th of March in Newcastle, UK.
We’re excited to be part of the amazing tournament that Newcastle Rollergirls have lined up and to play another hard game against Scotland. Hope to see you all there!

Welcome Aboard Selina Vile!
We’d like to congratulate and welcome Selina Vile to the team as Line Up Manager. Selina Vile from Manchester Roller Derby will be working with Lt Damn & Jeff to keep the team on track for the next two years.
A big thanks goes out to the Irish Roller Derby Association (IRDA) for organising the application process and for all those who applied for the role.
Road to TBC: 5th Place!
We’re thrilled to announce that we finished 5th place this weekend at Road to TBC, hosted by Wales! After two tough games against Wales & Sweden, we went on to beat Belgium in the last of our 30 minute games. This put us up against Scotland for 5th place in a full length game, with the final score standing Ireland 108 – 56 Scotland.
A big shout out to all the volunteers, officials, opponents, photographers, medics and fans that made Road to TBC another great success!
We’re pretty thrilled with our first outing as a new squad!
